Historical Background

1991
Storefront branch opened in Rexdale Plaza by the Etobicoke Public Library Board, 17 October. Bruce Stratton, Architect.

1997
Slated for closure due to budget constrains. Branch remained open when Etobicoke City council granted reprieve, December.

2003
Closed 31 May for relocation.

2005
Re-opened 16 April in larger facility on Kipling Ave. near Rexdale Blvd. with reduction of weekly service hours from 47 to 40. Makrimichalos-Cugini, Architect.
