Historical Background
1996
Officially opened by the Etobicoke Public Library Board in the Humberwood Centre, 8 June. Centre built in partnership with the Etobicoke Parks & Recreation Department, the Etobicoke Board of Education, and the Metropolitan Separate School Board. Architectural team: Moffat, Kinoshita Associates and Russocki + Zawadzki Architects.
Etobicoke Public Libraries received an Angus Award for Excellence 1996 for the Humberwood Centre Joint Development Project.
