York Township Public Library completes plans for a new branch on Trowell Avenue at Keele Street.

Opened by the York Public Library Board, 18 February. Banz, Brook, Carruthers,
Grierson, Shaw Architects. Named in honour of Evelyn Gregory, Chief
Librarian of York Township/Borough of York Public Library, 1945-1969.
1971
Hours of service extended with the branch opening on Wednesdays.
1981
Hours reduced with Monday closings.
2007
