What is an eBook?
An eBook, or electronic book, is a book that you read on a computer. eBooks from NetLibrary can be read in a web browser, such as Internet Explorer. You may need Adobe Acrobat to read some eBooks, but other than that you will need no special software.

NetLibrary eBooks will work with Internet Explorer, Firefox, and other web browsers. For some books you may need an Adobe Acrobat Reader to view PDF files.

Can I print a NetLibrary eBook?
You can print selections from electronic books, on a page-by-page basis, in the same way you would print other pages from your web browser. If you print more than four pages at one time, you will get a warning message that this use may violate copyright laws. After repeated warnings, NetLibrary may deny access to the eBook. |

No. NetLibrary eBooks may not be downloaded. |

Where can I get more help? NetLibrary's help pages have lots of useful information - click on Help at the top right corner of the screen after signing in to NetLibrary from the Toronto Public Library website, using your Toronto Public Library card. If you still have a problem, please ask a librarian.
