Branch History


1971 Opened 5 April as a Children's library.
1986 Renovated, William Woodworth, Architect. Closed 18 October.
1987 Reopened 19 May.
1992 Closed 20 April for barrier free access improvements. Reopened 17 May.
1998 Closed 21 December for refurbishment.
1999 Reopened 11 January.
2007 New hours, 8 January. Hours open per week decreased from 53 to 50.5.
2010 Closed 8 February for renovation. Reopened 15 March.
