1915	Mimico Public Library opened 2 March.
1966	New Mimico Centennial Library officially opened, 20 November. Banz, Brook, Carruthers, Grierson, Shaw Architects. Recipient of Massey Medal for Architecture, 1966. "The old [Carnegie] building was levelled within days of the Official Opening." (EPL History)
1967	Mimico Public Library Board taken over by the Etobicoke Public Library Board with the amalgamation of the Town of Mimico with the Township of Etobicoke becoming the Borough of Etobicoke.
2005	Hours open per week increased from 37 hours to 40 hours, 6 September.
