Summary/Review:	Maigret au Picratt's: At four-thirty in the morning, Arlette, a stripper at Picratt's in Pigalle, went into a drunken state at the police station nearby: she said she had surprised in the cabaret a conversation during which a certain Oscar announced his intention to kill a countess. He was sent to the police judiciaire, where, because of his condition, his statements, which were very imprecise, were hardly given credit. Shortly afterwards, Arlette's body was discovered, and, a few hours later, that of a countess; Both were strangled in the same way, in their apartment.
Summary/Review:	Maigret et son mort: One morning in February, an unknown telephone at Maigret: followed since yesterday by men who take turns, he is convinced that one wants his life and asks to be protected. The calls were renewed, but Janvier, who had been despatched by Maigret, never succeeded in reaching the little man with the gray hat in the course of the day. Calls suddenly cease, and one finds, at night, Place de la Concorde, the body of a man killed with a knife, his face disfigured. Maigret goes to the scene and no longer leaves the dead - his dead - whom he accompanies to the Forensic Institute ...
Summary/Review:	Maigret tend un piège: For six months, five women living alone have been murdered in Montmartre. There was no evidence to identify the killer. Following a conversation with a renowned psychiatrist, Maigret set up a staging intended to make him believe that he had arrested the culprit. He hopes that the assassin, likely killing himself, will be wounded in his pride, experiencing a sense of frustration and manifesting himself by attempting a new assault. The trap works ...
