Summary/Review: When Alice starts working at Zip's Candy factory, she gets more than a job--she gets an entire life. The story, told as an affidavit given during a family feud for control of Zip's Candy, recounts Alice's marriage into the Ziplinsky family, her efforts to belong, and her devotion to the company.
