Kelly Oxford is the author of the New York Times bestseller Everything is Perfect When You're a Liar. Her new book When You Find Out the World is Against You is a collection of essays and memories of awful moments.

A bookseller will be present at this event and the author will be signing. Credit, debit and cash accepted.

This event is now sold out. A limited number of rush seats will be made available at 6 pm on the day of the event. Rush seat ticket holders are not guaranteed admission but will be admitted to the Salon at 6:50 pm pending seat availability.

Ticket Holders: Limit two tickets per valid email address. Doors open at 6 pm. Please join us for a cash bar reception starting at 6 pm. As most Appel Salon events are free, it is our policy to overbook. In case of a full program, your ticket reservation may not guarantee admission. We recommend you arrive early.

Room Capacity: Based on fire code regulations the Appel Salon can accommodate seating for 458 in the main room. Seating is on a first come, first served basis. Additional overflow seating as well as standing room is available in the adjoining room.

Accessibility: Toronto Public Library is committed to providing equitable access to library service in a welcoming and supportive environment. A limited number of hearing assist devices are made available to all attendees at the Appel Salon bar.
