The best value for buying books in the city.
You can buy donated items and materials withdrawn from the library's collection in every library branch. Money raised from book sales is used to support library programs and services.
Book Ends and Book Ends South
The two largest book sale locations are:
Book Ends – North York Central Library
Book Ends South – Toronto Reference Library
Both stores are staffed by Friends of the Library.

Thursday, Friday & Saturday - 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Book Ends South - Toronto Reference Library
Wednesday & Thursday - 12 noon - 8 p.m.
Tuesday, Friday, Saturday - 12 noon - 5 p.m.
