About Ian Brown
Ian Brown has hosted cultural programs for TVOntario and CBC Radio One, including Human Edge, Talking Books and Sunday Morning. He has also written for Maclean's, the Financial Post, The Globe and Mail and Saturday Night, and contributed to NPR's This American Life. Brown has also published two books, Freewheeling and Man Overboard. His latest book, The Boy in the Moon, will be published by Random House Canada on Sept. 22, 2009.
All events are free. Doors open an hour before the event. Seating is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Light food and beverages will be available for sale from 6 - 6:45 p.m.

About Douglas Coupland
Douglas Coupland has studied art and design in Vancouver, Canada, Milan, Italy and Sapporo, Japan. His first novel, Generation X, was published in March of 1991. Since then he has published ten novels and several non-fiction books in 35 languages and most countries on earth. He has written and performed for the Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford, England, and in 2001 resumed his practice as a visual artist, with exhibitions in North America, Europe and Asia. His next novel, Generation A, will be published in the UK, Canada and US in fall of 2009. |
