The new catalogue marks the beginning of changes to the library catalogue and our other web services.
The changes you are seeing to the library catalogue are part of larger system enhancements being made to our core cataloguing and circulation system. This system is critical to the day-to-day functions of the library and is used for everything from ordering and cataloguing library materials, to circulating items, and to providing access to the web-based catalogue. Ongoing improvements and enhancements will continue to be added on an ongoing basis.
Other changes are also scheduled to take place later in 2008 including the addition of events listings and new website design with enhanced functionality and features.
